CouchSurfer is a small, owner-operated pre-owned furniture business based in Mays Landing, New Jersey. We source, professionally clean, and resell high-end couches and mattresses across South Jersey, the Philadelphia metro, NYC, and the wider tri-state area. Designer brands at roughly half retail — Restoration Hardware, LoveSac, West Elm, Pottery Barn, Crate & Barrel, Room & Board, Hickory Chair, and more.
The story
Why pre-owned?
Furniture is the fastest-growing category in U.S. landfills. Most of it doesn’t need to be there — a deep clean, a little detailing, and an honest listing is all it takes to give a couch a second life.
We focus on high-end brands because they’re built to last. A 5-year-old Restoration Hardware sectional is still going to outlast most things you can buy new today — and at a fraction of the price.
We’re intentionally small. One truck, one workshop, one person handling every step. That’s how we keep quality high.
